| REMINDER: The Romp is one month away! We'll meet on the beach off Saulsbury Street at 9:30 on Saturday, April 24th. Look www.doodlesindewey.com. The organizers have new T-shirts this year and dog toss toys, too. T-shirts will be in unisex sizes only. Interested? Email Amy Scott: doodlesindewey@verizon.net. Last year we had 80 dogs on the beach.....how many this year?????!!! There is no fee to attend the romp, but it is a charity event for Food for Friends, so donations are greatly appreciated. No commercial activity is allowed at the romp unless a permit is obtained. Therefore, anyone showing up with ideas of marketing any type of items will be asked to leave if they have not obtained a permit. Permits issued by the local government in Dewey cost $1500 and it is the vender's responsibility to obtain the appropriate permit. This is to ensure we can continue to host the Dewey Beach Doodle Romp as an annual event. |
