Can you find a  place in your heart for one of these dogs in need of a forever home?  These dogs are available through the Humane Society of Morgan County (WV).  Please contact Andrea for more information at 304-258-5592.  All dogs over six months of age are spayed/neutered.  All dogs are current on vaccinations.
BIG PENNY is a boxer mix. She weighs around 55 pounds and was born around March of 2008. Like all boxers, she is very playful and has tons of energy. She was brought to the shelter by a foster and then placed with a second foster. Neither foster actively sought out a permanent home for her. She returned to the shelter in order to a loving home.
CHEYENNE is a pit mix. She weighs around 50 pounds and was born in March 2008. She was brought to the shelter by a foster and then placed with a second foster. Neither foster actively sought out a permanent home for her. She returned to the shelter in order to a loving home. She is a playful girl.

JAZZ is a boxer mix girl.  We estimate that she was born in May of 2008.  She was a stray.  Jazz is tons of fun with people but does not get along with cats and other dogs.
LITTLE PENNY is a Chihuahua mix, weighs between 11 and 12 pounds. She was born in August 2009. Penny was found as a stray and brought to the shelter in October 2010. Penny does not like cats but she adores people and wants to be near people if at all possible. Penny has nearly been adopted several times but, through no fault of her own, she has not yet found her forever home.

MALI is a true West Virginia porch dog – genetic makeup is anyone’s guess. She weighs around 25 pounds and may be 4 to 5 years old. Mali is skittish around strangers but once she warms up to you she is a friendly hound. Best suited to a calm and quiet environment, no small children.

PRESTO is a male American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He was brought to the shelter by a foster and then placed with a second foster. Neither foster actively sought out a permanent home for him. He returned to the shelter in order to a loving home. Presto gets along with other dogs and is a very sweet big (75 pounds) playful boy
SHADOW is a lab mix. She was born in December 2005 so she is past the frenzied puppy stage but she still has lots of years of good loving left in her. This girl would do best in a home without chickens!
