| Teddy's raiser is Judith Gomez who also raised Richter. He passed his Canine Good Citizen test in July, 2009 and his Certified Therapy Dog test in July, 2010. He did not make the final cut as a guide dog, but is bringing joy to Judith and her mom as their permanent pet. |

| Teddy has been sending postcards since he has graduated into formal guide dog training. Here is what he has to say: 4/22/10 - It's me again from guide dog college. I've learned right and left and how to cross streets safely. Soon we will start walking in busier areas with more to look at but it's not all hard work. I get to play with my friends everyday!! 5/15/10 - My trainers tell me I've completed my first set of tests in harness! I got to guide my trainers while they were blindfolded. It sure was fun! I know I still have a lot to learn and soon we will learn to guide on stairs, elevators, and even escalators. We have fun when we are not working too. The staff gives us bones and toys to play with.
