This is Lulu (red F2 mini) and Lilly (blonde F1 mini).  Lilly
is a typical wavy coated F1 mini.  Lulu is a flat coated F2
mini.  F2 minis have the largest variety of coat types of the
generations produced to date with flat, wavy, or curly
coats.  Lulu is an example of an F2 mini that took mostly
Golden Retriever genes.  She weighs just 18 lbs. at 6 mos.
of age.  She does shed some, but other flat coated F2's
owners have reported no shedding.  For those of you who
love the Golden Retriever but just want one in a smaller
version, the flat coated F2 mini is the answer.  You can
view other coats of the F2 mini generation on the F2 mini
photo pages.
Two of Fox Creek Farms' dogs, Pebbles and Hawkeye, are regular blood donors to the
Eastern Veterinarian Blood Bank.  The EVBB is the largest canine blood bank in the USA
that collects blood from volunteer dogs.  No caged dogs are used as donors.  WJLA
(Channel 7 in the Washington, DC viewing area) filmed Pebbles and Hawkeye for a
segment that will aired on March 18 at 5 p.m. on both channel 7 and 8.  This filming also
honored the 6000th dog to donate blood to the EVBB.  Go to the "Blood Donations" page
for more information and photos.  Use the link below to view the segment in the internet
archives of ABC news.

Click here to access a tribute to Goodness Gracious, aka Baby, my pony of 34.5 years.  We
lost her on 9/12/08 and it seemed fitting to share my memories with those who knew her
and even those that didn't.  She is greatly missed.
