Leading breeder of Goldendoodles since 1999

Fox Creek Farm, located in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, is home to one of the founding breeders of the Goldendoodle and the creator of the mini Goldendoodle. Our dogs are health tested and cleared for issues of the hips, eyes, elbows, patellas and heart defects as well as being DNA tested for diseases prevalent in Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles. We guarantee our puppies against genetic defects and our Goldendoodles are registered with the Goldendoodle Association of North America, Inc. All our lines originate from AKC registered purebreds. We are so proud to be offering responsibly bred Goldendoodle puppies for sale! Our Goldendoodle puppies for sale can be found on our Available Puppies page. All puppies for sale can be delivered by car to many surrounding states including but not limited to West Virginia, Virginia, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware.

Program Highlights

  • We only breed Multigenerational (Goldendoodle x Goldendoodle), (Bernedoodle x Bernedoodle) due to their higher non-shed success rate.

  • We allocate puppies to families based on temperament and size.

  • Our puppies leave us at 8 weeks of age with current deworming, their first round of vaccinations, and a vet check.

  • Our puppies are microchipped before leaving us.

Health Testing

We focus on many things in our program with health, conformation to the Goldendoodle Breed Standard and temperament being of utmost importance. The health testing we complete on every single dog before breeding is as follows:

Goldendoodles & Bernedoodles (proof provided):

  • PennHip after 16 weeks of age

  • OFA elbows at 12 months of age

  • OFA heart/patella at 12 months of age

  • OFA eyes every two years

Our dogs are conscientiously bred to avoid passing on undesirable traits.

Goldendoodles: Three mutations of Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Degenerative Myelopathy, Ichthyosis, Neonatal Encephalitis with Seizures, von Willebrand’s Disease, Chondrodysplasia and Chondrodystrophy.

Bernedoodles: von Willebrand’s Disease, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Degenerative Myelopathy, Degenerative Myelopathy Bernese Mountain Dog Variant, Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures and CDDY & CPDA.

Puppy Culture

Our puppies (regardless of breed) are raised with an enrichment program known as Puppy Culture. Puppy Culture sets the gold standard for responsible breeders. Below are some of the topics that are covered in Puppy Culture:

Preparation and Prenatal Care, Developmental Periods, Understanding Behavioral Markers, Age Appropriate Games and Exercises, Handling Fear Periods, Enrichment Effect, Creating an Enriching Environment, Puzzles and Problem Solving, Active vs Passive Challenges, Early Socialization, Communication Trinity, Offering Good Behaviors, Manding, Problem Prevention, Emotional Resilience Exercises, Anti-Aggression Protocols, Sound-Proofing Puppies, and more.

Many breeders claim to do Puppy Culture, but do not fully utilize the program. We do, and can prove it! Check out our YouTube channel to watch puppies go through the stages of the Puppy Culture Program:

Exposure to Different Environments

Our puppies are raised indoors, but have exposure to many different environments such as loud noises, different types of flooring, different type of walls, cats, different rooms, different lighting, darkness, full lighting, car rides, vets, strangers and much more.

Additionally, we expose puppies to “scary noises” such as tarps, wobble boards, different sounding and feeling toys, vacuums as well as a scary noises CD that includes honking horns, baby crying noises, trains, dogs barking, traffic, sirens and alarms and more. This is done delicately to coach puppies through the stress of scary noises in a positive way.

Early Neurological Stimulation

We also use Dr. Battaglia’s Early Neurological Stimulation protocols on the puppies from day 3-16 of their life. An explanation of the benefits is listed below:

Five benefits have been observed in canines that were exposed to the Bio Sensor stimulation exercises. The benefits noted are the following: Improved cardiovascular performance (heart rates), stronger heartbeats, stronger adrenal glands, more tolerance to stress, and greater resistance to disease

In learning tests, stimulated pups were found to be more active and more exploratory than their non-stimulated littermates over which they were dominant in competitive situations.

Secondary effects were also noted regarding test performance. In simple problem-solving tests using detours in a maze, the non-stimulated pups became extremely aroused, whined a great deal, and made many errors. Their stimulated littermates were less disturbed or upset by test conditions and when comparisons were made, the stimulated littermates were calmer in the test environment, made fewer errors, and gave only an occasional distress sound when stressed.
